These terms of use apply to your use this Website and all of the Websites and services owned, hosted, or operated by Club Coach Connect, LLC. directly or through its divisions (collectively “CCC”, “we,” “us,” or “our”), including ClubCoachConnect.com, and any other site that we have owned or operated, do own and operate or may own or operate in the future including social media sites (collectively, the “Website(s)”). Unless otherwise indicated, all references to the Websites in these terms and conditions include all such Websites. These terms of use do not apply to your use of unaffiliated websites, social media platforms, or any other source to which any of the Websites may link to or direct you to. Your use of this Website is subject to the following terms and conditions. Your use of this Website, including the posting of reviews, constitutes your acceptance of these terms and conditions and your agreement to be bound by them.If you do not agree to these terms, you should not access or use this Website.  

We reserve the right to change, alter, update, and/or otherwise amend these Terms and Conditions, which may change at any time without notice.

Websites Uses 

The website, www.clubcoachconnect.com, provides user generated feedback on club coaches, coaching styles as well as user generated feedback on the general team atmosphere.

Coach ratings should only be posted by users who have been coached by or are the parent/guardian of an athlete who has been or is currently being coached by the coach being reviewed. For each coach being reviewed, users are limited to posting one (1) comment/review per season. Club Coach Connect is NOT the place to report dangerous, illegal or illicit behaviors.

Submissions & Reviews:

Athlete Guidelines:

• Be honest in your reviews. You want to be able to trust these reviews when evaluating your coach options so we ask that to contribute in the same spirit.
• When you are reviewing a coach, it’s often helpful to provide both pros and cons. This leads to much more credible and constructive feedback for your peers.
• Reviews should focus specifically on the coach and your team experience. Do not comment on a Coach's appearance, dress, age, gender or race.
• Avoid hearsay. You will want to share your individual experience and what you took away from the coach.
• This is not a forum for debate. Reviews that specifically reference another review will be removed. If you do not agree with someone’s individual experience, we encourage you to share your own.
• We understand that not all coaches are the perfect match for each individual athlete. Tell us how the coach wasn’t the best for you in a way that helps others make their own decision.
• Reviews fueled by anger do not reflect well on the author and can be removed for violations such as profanity. Take a minute to step back and make sure your review will genuinely help others understand your experience.
• Club Coach Connect reserves the right to remove ratings that do not contain substantive comments.
• We only allow one student to review a coach one time per season. Spamming a coach's profile page will lead to comment removal.
• When reading your fellow athlete's reviews, we encourage you to use your discretion and weigh every review amongst the others. Online reviews should be one of the many resources used when making a decision that affects your athletic future.

Prohibited Content: Comments that contain the following will be removed:

• Profanity, name-calling, and/or vulgarity, derogatory remarks about religion, ethnicity or race, gender, physical appearance, age, mental and/or physical disabilities;
• Identifiable information about a coach or athlete that would allow someone to contact the coach/athlete outside of club setting;
• References to a coach's or athlete’s family, personal life and/or sex life, including sexual innuendos;
• Claims that a coach shows bias for or against a student or specific group of students (For more information and resources, please read here);
• Claims about a coach's employment status, including previous employment;
• Claims that a coach or athlete engages or has engaged in illegal activities;
• Direct references to other existing comments or comments that have been deleted by our moderators;
• Accusations that the coach is rating him/herself or his/her colleagues;
• A language other than English. Comments must be written in English only.
• Hyperlinks and / or URLs.

Coach Guidelines:

• This is an anonymous website where athlete's and parents/guardians can share their coaching experiences.
• We are unable to provide any data or personal information about the submitter of a review.
• We are unable to remove a comment simply because it is negative. It will only be removed if it doesn’t comply with our site guidelines.
• We encourage you to engage with athletes/parents on the site by creating a Club Coach Connect account. With a Coach account, you have the ability to post a reply and get alerted when new ratings are posted on your profile. To create your coach account, get started here.
• Replies fueled by anger do not reflect well on the author and can be removed for violations such as profanity. Take a minute to step back and make sure your reply will genuinely help others.
• Club Coach Connect's moderation team is unable to prove or disprove details mentioned in a review. We are not arbiters of facts. If you disagree with the details mentioned in a review, see paragraph above regarding managing your profile.
• If you believe that your profile is being spammed or dogpiled, please tell us. You can contact us at [email protected]. We’re here to help and will happily review the comments in question.
• While it is against our guidelines for a coach to rate themselves, we recommend for coaches to encourage their athletes to provide ratings each season. The more reviews you have, the more representative they will be.
• Coach replies are subject to the same limitations regarding Prohibited Content, as set forth above.

Flagging a Rating:

• If you see a rating that you believe violates these Site Guidelines, please click the "report this rating" at the bottom of the comment and state the problem. Such comments will be evaluated by the Site's personnel.
• You may not flag a review for any reason other than the review’s violation of our Terms and Conditions, including if you disagree with the review.
• We reserve the right to address any party found flagging a comment inappropriately, including banning, flagging, removing, and/or otherwise limiting a user’s and/or coach’s use of our Websites in any manner we unilaterally deem appropriate.

Posting Reviews 

You agree that any posting or review posted on the Websites must comply with our then current Posting Guidelines posted on our website. If any review fails to adhere to the then current Posting Guidelines, it shall be removed from the Websites.

We are not responsible for material posted on the Websites by any third party. We are not responsible for screening material posted by users for libel, obscenity, invasion of privacy, copyright or trademark infringement, accuracy, or for any other reason. We retain, however, the right to modify or remove messages or other material that we, in our sole discretion are in violation of our then current Posting Guidelines. We also reserve the right to edit materials to bring such materials into compliance without Positing Guidelines, but we will clearly mark the edit and the reason for the edit. Whether or not we modify or remove such material, users remain solely responsible for the content of their messages or postings. By posting on the Websites, you grant (or warrant that the owner of such rights has expressly granted) us the worldwide, perpetual, nonexclusive right to use and display your postings, in their original or edited form, in any medium we may choose. You also warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content you have posted and that the public posting and use of such content by us will not infringe the rights of any third party. You are not entitled to any compensation for any materials you may post on the Websites.

CLUB COACH CONNECT, LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THIS WEBSITE OR THE SERVERS MAKING THIS WEBSITE AVAILABLE ARE VIRUS FREE.

CLUB COACH CONNECT IS NOT THE PLACE TO REPORT DANGEROUS, ILLEGAL OR ILLICIT BEHAVIORS. IF YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU, ANOTHER COACH, OR ATHLETE IS IN DANGER, WE STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO REPORT SUCH INCIDENCES DIRECTLY TO YOUR LOCAL AUTHORITIES OR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT. CLUB COACH CONNECT RESERVES THE RIGHT REPORT CONTENT AS NECESSARY, BUT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATIONTO DO SO AT ANY TIME.

The law protects Club Coach Connect from legal responsibility for the content submitted by our users, like the reviews that appear on our site. Specifically, the Communications Decency Act of 1996 (47 U.S.C. Sec. 230) created a federal immunity to any cause of action that would make service providers, like Club Coach Connect, liable for information originating with a third-party user of the service.

Any party who wishes to sue Club Coach Connect for the reviews posted by our members risks penalties imposed by the court. These may include financial sanctions and reimbursement of our attorney's fees for our having to defend against a lawsuit that ignores obvious legal protections for Club Coach Connect. If you intend to serve documents on Club Coach Connect, LLC, please make sure that service is properly effected in the US in accordance with all applicable law. We are not obligated to respond if service is not valid. These guidelines are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. All comments, remarks, suggestions, ideas, graphics, data or other information communicated to CCC through this Web site (“Submission”) or through electronic mail will be treated as non-proprietary and non-confidential and become the property of CCC for our own exclusive use and you will not be entitled any compensation at any time and you expressly give up all rights in the Submission.

Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances, including but not limited to negligence, will we be liable for any special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the Materials or information on the Websites, or any products or services provided pursuant to the Websites, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. CCC has no control over the information and privacy policies and practices of those websites, and is not responsible for their content, collection and use of information, or freedom from error or viruses. It is your responsibility to recognize, by paying attention to your browser’s address bar, when you are leaving Our Websites. 

Access Keys, Login Information, Passwords and Restricted Areas of the Websites 

This Website may contain certain pages, features, content or other components that can be only be accessed by logging into an account and/or entering a combination of a user name and password and/or an access key(s) (collectively “Restricted Content”). You may not share your user name and password or access key with any other person or allow any other person to access any Restricted Content by allowing them access through your login and password and/or the access key. When creating your Restricted Content, you must provide honest, truthful, and accurate information to use our Website.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution 

These Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy posted at this Website constitute the entire agreement between you and CCC with respect to your use of this Website. All disputes arising under the Terms and Conditions and/or the Privacy Policy, regardless of where they are brought, shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to any conflict of law provisions. You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action arising out of or related to your use of this Web site must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose or be forever barred in a legal court with the appropriate jurisdiction located in the State of Texas. You agree that if any portion of these Terms and Conditions or Private Policy is found by an arbitrator or court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the arbitrator or court shall nevertheless give effect to the parties’ intentions expressed therein. All other provisions of these Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy remain in full force and effect. Any failure by CCC to exercise any rights or to enforce any of the terms of the Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy shall not constitute a waiver of such rights or terms.
